Print shows a birdseye view of battlefields along the banks of the Danube River in Hungary. Includes representations of Budapest, Gran (Esztergom) and Vienna. Includes allegorical images of angels, an eagle, a dog and portrait of "Emiricy Teckely" (Count Imre Thököly). Individual details are labeled throughout the print refer to specific historical incidents and battles. Includes depictions of Polish cossacks, Hertzog von Lothrin and the King of Poland on horseback and bridges along the Danube, etc. Polish troops under King John III Sobiesky defeated the Turkish army allied with Imre Thököly to avert the capture of Vienna in 1683.
