The cremated remains of nine former service members were committed to the sea during a ceremony on Abraham Lincoln's No. 3 aircraft elevator. Operating in the western Pacific and Indian oceans, the USS Abraham Lincoln Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
