Letter from Julius O. Beardslee, Mico Institution, [Kingston, Jamaica], to Amos Augustus Phelps, Jan[uar]y 16th 1847
Summary
Julius O. Beardslee writes to Amos A. Phelps that he procured the map of Jamaica as Phelps asked. He says he cannot send Kingston Papers to Phelps but will forward a few issues that he obtained, including the one for the coming Monday which will report on the Teetotal meeting. He says the meeting was “a great occasion for Jamaica.” He extends invitation for Phelps to visit Jamaica, saying that Hiram Graves is seriously considering of going to New Orleans.
