Letter from Elizabeth B. Gillet, Middlebury, to Amos Augustus Phelps, Sept. 6th 1827
Summary
Elizabeth B. Gillet writes to Amos A. Phelps that she hasn’t been able to write to him because she has been busy with housework. Responding to Phelps’s request to tell him about her “love affair,” she says she wants to forget about it. She says she does not have exciting news to tell Phelps, but talks about her commencement, which took place in the previous spring.
