Letter from Charles M. Putnam, Andover, to Amos Augustus Phelps, June 23. [1827]
Summary
In reply to Amos A. Phelps’s inquiry, Charles M. Putnam talks about experience at Andover Theological Seminary and at Yale. He says he wishes that Phelps remained in Andover longer. He says he will let “Brother Jewett” write to him on the same sheet. After this letter, another person (Presumably Jewett) talks about his experience in teaching.
