March 2, 1904 is Theodor Seuss Geisel’s birthday. Better known as Dr. Seuss, Geisel’s stories touch on complex social and political themes in easy to digest formats. Before his death in 1991, he had published over 40 children’s books, many of which are still in circulation today.
