Summary
Print shows the Assemblée nationale législative meeting in a large room crowded with French citizens, many of them armed with swords and pikes, one holding aloft a victim's head on a pike, another firing a rifle in the direction of the Assemblée. Two large framed documents hang on the wall behind the Assemblée, gathered on the left, the "Declaration des Droits de l'homme" and the "Constitution de l'année 1793." The majority of the crowd appears to be women.
