Jonathan Greenert passes through international sideboys on the pier before joining the governor of Maryland, ambassadors, heads of navy, fellow flag officers and international navy delegates at a NATO reception aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55). The event was hosted by Commander, NATO Maritime Group 2 and the commanding officer of Leyte Gulf in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner poem written by Francis Scott Key in 1814, which later was set to music and in 1931 became America's national anthem.
