Summary

George III takes a paper (a petition) from the hand of Margaret Nicholson, who holds a knife (in her left hand) against his chest. A beefeater (left) steps forward to restrain her, another stands unmoved by an open door in a high brick wall. The king's coach is on the right. Not a caricature, though drawn in the manner of one.
