Description on the back of Mary Lloyd's photo:..'The 1st North Addington Girl Guide Company Camp on property at the head of the Mazinaw due to the kindness of Bryce Brown and family. We dug a hole in the bank and kept our milk and butter cool...The tents were on loan from the Canadian Army storage in Kingston. Bryce Brown also supplied boat rides to the girls. The camp got its water for cooking, drinking from Whip-Poor-Will Lodge. ..Army vets Keith Jackson helped set up the tents along with several volunteer Boy Scouts - Bud Hawley, Ken Jackson, Jack Cox, etc.'
