Two US Navy (USN) H/SH-60F/H helicopters, from Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 2 (HS-2, Golden Falcons), Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 2, and Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 14 (HS-14, Chargers), CVW 5, both embarked onboard the USN Nimitz Class aircraft carrier, USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN 72), prepare to land at US Air Force (USAF) Andersen Air Force Base (AFB), Guam (GU), after participating in a full day of simulated strike warfare missions conducted during Exercise VALIANT SHIELD 2006. This joint US military service exercise is held in the Pacific and is designed to test how well the four US military services and the US Coast Guard (USCG) work together in several simulated real-life events
