That )3ortion of the allantois which extends from theupper part of the bladder to the umbilicus forms the urachus andbecomes the superior ligament of the bladder. Two other ducts areformed parallel with those of the Wolffian body, situated above andexternal to them, which are called Miillers ducts; they fuse belowand open into the inferior part of the allantois below the vesical dila-tation at the place where the urethral canal is formed.
