Commencing from above downwards, the round ballat the top was placed in the right frontal lobe of the brain, and the conical bullet next to it also inside the brain, close tothe right parietal bone. As the right side of the head was placednext the sensitive plate, both these bullets were brought close to thefilm, a fact which accounts for their clear definition. For a likereason their shadows in the original photograph correspond nearlyin size with those of the foreign bodies. Their sharpness of outlineis wanting in the third bullet (from above downwards), which wasplaced in the centre of the lower portion of the skull cavity, overthe basilar process of the sphenoid.
