Portraits of patients at Medical Site 2 at Roosevelt Douglas Primary School in Portsmouth, Dominica, were taken to showcase the variety of people that make up the Dominican local population receiving free health care provided by the U.S. Navy during Operation Continuing Promise 2015 on July 29, 2015. Operation Continuing Promise is a mission in which the United States military works with host nations to provide humanitarian assistance and execute civil-military operations alongside various partner nations within the Caribbean and Central and South America. United States personnel with the mission will be providing health, engineering and veterinary services for nine consecutive days on the island. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
