Norinaga - Tsuba with Fukurokuju in the Moon - Walters 51374
Summary
At the upper right of this tsuba, the folk god Fukurokuju appears. He is in front of a gold moon, surrounded by clouds. At the bottom, waves are carved into the tsuba. The reverse shows crane, a symbol of longevity and often depicted along with Fukurokuju. Fukurokuju is the god of longevity.
