No. 586 Report from stereo-roentgenogram shows extensive involvement upper lobesof both lungs. Fibrosis, consolidation, cavitation and the degenerations areespecially marked in the right side. There is dense consolidation along a lineextending from the hilus shadow to the pleura at a point suggesting the lowermargin of the upper lobe anteriorally. The rest of the upper lobe suggestsvarying degrees of consolidation and diffuse infiltration, in addition to thedegenerations and coalescing cavities. The left lung shows well defined conelesions in the apical region as well as beneath the first and second interspacemid-clavicular region. The density of the cone lesions indicates different ages. The conclusions in this case warrant a serious prognosis. 216 THE JOURNAL OF ROENTGENOLOGY

No. 10021 Report from stereo-roentgenogram shows lesions in the upper lobes of bothlungs. Extensive fibrosis, cavitation, consolidation, diffuse infiltration, pleuraland broncho-parenehymal lesions. There is evidence of caseous and liquefaetivedegenerations with coalescing cavities. Dense calcific deposits in caseous andconsolidated areas are in evidence in the right hilum. Extensive fibrosis withsome contraction and displacement of the mediastinum to the left in the upperportion. ORNDOFF — TUBERCULAR LUNG PARENCHYMA 217
