Huge postcard sent Minnesota Senator. Washington, D.C., May 2. Said to be the largest postcard ever sent through the mail, this 4x6 message urging passage of a bill to provide sick and annual leave for substitute employees of the Post Office Department, was received today by Senator Ernest Lundeen of Minnesota, from the Minneapolis Substitute Committee of the National Federation of Post Office Clerks. It took $1.50 in stamps to carry the card. Officers of the National Federation of Post Office Clerks are shown with the Senator shortly after the card was delivered. Left to right: Senator Ernest Lundeen, W.T. Horner, Legislative representative of the Federation; Leo [...]orge, President; W.H. Duke, Secretary; and A.B. [...]ombie, Chairman of the local unit
