Historiated initial with a woman with a set-square and dividers teaching a group of students (perhaps the personification of Geometry) at the beginning of Euclid's Elementa, in the translation attributed to Adelard of Bath, and in the margin, a man shooting an arrow at a boar, with a dog. Image taken from f. 293 of Scholastic miscellany (see Notes for contents). Written in Latin.
