A technician from the Duluth Regional Precision Measurement Lab (PMEL), 148th Fighter Wing, Duluth, Minnesota, 3D prints face mask extenders using polypropylene. The innovative project was a collaboration between PMEL, medical personnel and emergency operations center personnel. The face mask extenders provide a more comfortable fit to one-size-fits-all face masks sewn for airmen and civilian employees to slow the spread of COVID-19.
