190107-N-PH222-1103 ARABIAN SEA (Jan. 7, 2018) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Frederick Medina, from Delano, Calif., signals an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter attached to the “Blackjacks” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21, during a vertical replenishment with the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Alan Shepard (T-AKE-3), while on a deployment of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
